About

Why work with me.

A space has to do more than look good — it has to work for the people living in it every day.

Kelle, founder of Trying to Live Simply

I’ve always had a passion for organization and for creating spaces that are both beautiful and genuinely functional. As a mother of four, a wife of 26 years, and a former schoolteacher, I know a space has to do more than look good — it has to work for the people living in it every day.

I’ve made a home in ten different houses and moved across the country more than once. Each time, I learned to adapt a space to a new set of needs and a new season of life. Those moves gave me practical, road-tested ways to help people through almost any kind of organizing challenge.

Helping family, friends, and clients taught me that organizing is about far more than belongings. Everyone has their own habits, routines, and priorities — so I take time to understand how you think, live, and move through your day. That’s how we build systems that actually hold.

There’s no one-size-fits-all way to declutter. I take a holistic view — your space, yes, but also your goals, your habits, and your daily rhythm. My hope is that you walk away with a simpler, more sustainable way of thinking about your things, so that order becomes a way of living rather than a one-time project. Together we can make a space that’s easy to keep, for years to come.
